Gold Award

Congratulations to Owen who is the first boy to receive the Gold Award! He really has ‘Been There, Done it…..and got the T Shirt!’

I hope Owen has inspired you to keep going with your passports! Please do let me know if you are waiting for one and I will get it to you asap.

REMEMBER….. you can now work on Silver in Pre Prep and Gold in Early Seniors!

Welcome Back

Welcome back to school! It has been great to welcome all the boys back into Year 2 and they have made an excellent start to the year.

This week we have been looking at the 100 square (and beyond!) counting forwards, backwards and looking at patterns within the 100 square.

Here are some things to practise

  1. Counting forwards and backwards in ones, twos, fives and tens, starting from any number (and going beyond 100)
  2. Look at a 100 square and remember where you have to look for 10 more/  less, 20 more / less, 11 more/ less, 21 more/less etc

Good luck!

End of Year

I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful summer holiday! Well done to the boys who are awaiting their awards in September, I am really looking forward to presenting them to you!

Please do use the summer holiday to finish any outstanding activities on your passports so I can award your badges in September too.

After a challenging few months, I hope you are able to relax, recharge and refresh over the summer and I will look forward to see you all in September!

Half Term

I would just like to wish you all a lovely half term. I hope you have the opportunity to rest and have some fun! Remember to make the most of the lovely weather and have a go at some BTDI activities! If you have finished your passport, you might like to try some of the activities on past blog posts.

I was delighted to receive this presentation this week which includes some amazing art ideas! Why don’t you have a look and see if it inspires you?
